SRAP members and friends in Melbourne meet every Friday from 5pm since June 2024.
The gatherings have taken place mainly at the rooftop of the funky Spanish joint Bombabar (103 Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC 3000), but some Fridays the group have met at other venues.
For example, on Friday, August 9th, the group attended the Festival of Mexican LGBTIQ+ Short Films organised by SRAP member Prof. Alfredo Martínez Expósito, and on Friday, August 16th they attended St. LuJa: St Kilda Cocktail & Whiskey Bar to celebrate member’s birthdays with 20 people in attendance; and The Spanish Club – Hogar Español on the 30th of August for “Las cervecitas de los viernes” + karaoke in Spanish.
