On the 29th October 2025, SRAP New Zealand representative, Dr Marta Ribó, was invited to be part of the discussion panel at the FAST! Symposium, organised by the France Aotearoa Sciences, Technologies and !innovations association.
The symposium brought together scientist and researchers working in New Zealand, whose contributions strengthen shared pursuit of knowledge and innovation. This symposium was organised by the French scientist community, but invited some representatives of other countries, such as Dr Ribó, to share the work we do in the association of Spanish Researchers in Australia-Pacific.
The 2-day symposium was filled with invited talks, and presentations from different French researchers, as well as round tables to talk about the future of the relationships between Aotearoa New Zealand and France, and the cooperation between French territories and other countries of the Pacific region.
The panel in which Dr Ribó participated discussed different associations in Aotearoa New Zealand, and how we can all contribute to enhance the relations between members.
