SRAP attends La Cámara’s Gala Dinner 2023

On Friday 17th March 2023, Assoc. Prof Marian Vidal-Fernández (University of Sydney and SRAP Deputy Vice-President) and Dr Ángel López-Sánchez (Macquarie University and SRAP President) represented SRAP in the  “Gala Dinner 2023” of the Spanish-Australian Chamber of Commerce. The SRAP invitation came from Carmen Verdú (Typsa Australia), to whom we are extremely grateful.

Rebeca Guinea Stal (Consul General of Spain in Sydney), H.E. Alicia Moral Revilla (Spanish Ambassador in Australia), Augusto Vila Barrón (Military, Naval and Air Defence Attaché, Spanish Embassy in Australia), Mrs Silvia Fernández (President of La Cámara) and Dr Ángel López-Sánchez (Macquarie University and SRAP President).

That was the very first time SRAP was invited to this event, following all the industry collaborations SRAP has developed during the last years, including Ferrovial Australia, Indra Australia, Navantia Australia, Typsa Australia, Acciona Australia, CaixaBank, Cupra Australia, and Iberdrola (among others). More than 250 people attended the Gala Dinner. It was a great networking opportunity.

Both the President of La Cámara, Mrs Silvia Fernández, and the Spanish Ambassador, H.E. Alicia Moral Revilla, mentioned SRAP in their speeches. The Spanish Ambassador remarked the collaboration with universities and mentioned the example of Macquarie University with Ferrovial Australia.
