About
I am a psychiatrist with a keen interest in research, particularly focused on treatment-resistant depression and neurostimulation techniques. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at UNSW in Sydney, investigating the cognitive effects of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), under the supervision of Professor Colleen Loo and Dr. Donel Martin. Additionally, I am an integral member of the Neurostimulation Team at Black Dog Institute and the coordination team of the Clinical Alliance and Research in ECT and Related Treatments. I am currently leading a study examining the long-term efficacy and safety of racemic ketamine. I am affiliated with Ramsay Northside Clinic as a Research Officer, where I serve as the sub-PI for two randomized controlled trials funded by NHMRC and MRRF. These trials focus on investigating the effectiveness of ketamine and electroconvulsive therapy in the treatment of resistant depression.
