PhD candidate in the Fineran lab at the University of Otago.
I am interested in the interactions between bacteriophages and their hosts, especially phage resistance mechanisms such as CRISPR-Cas systems. In this context, my PhD thesis is aimed to characterise and expand our current understanding of certain unexplored aspects of CRISPR-Cas regulation and activity.
