About
I’m a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the UNSW Sydney (Australia) since February 2020. Before that, I did my Ph.D. and first postdoc at the IAC in Tenerife (Spain). My main research interests are the analysis of the faintest structures around galaxies, this is, the so-called Low Surface Universe. In particular, I have studied galaxy disc structures such as the thick disks, truncations, or warps. In my current position, I’m mainly interested in the understanding of the intracluster light (ICL) and its detection with the upcoming Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile.
