I am really interested in shark neurobiology in order to understand how sharks sense their world to develop new technologies and fishing practices to reduce shark by-catch in the fishing industry of both Australia and Spain. Particularly, I am currently studying how shark olfactory capabilities vary between species using morphology and transcriptomes.
