About
I am interested in the integration of environmental management and the human dimensions. Integrating social perceptions in environmental management is essential to ensure the success of management interventions and promote social well being. I have been involved in projects focused on people’s perceptions of marine renewable energies and fishers’ perceptions regarding the small-scale fishery in Chile. In my PhD project, I am looking at what are artisanal fishers’ perceptions of equity (or fairness) and its implications in fisheries management and conservation.
