I am interested in the carbon cycle in the Southern Ocean and I undertake my research within the Carbon Uptake and Chemical Change project, with the main goal of quantifying the physical, chemical and biological processes that control the uptake of atmospheric carbon dioxide in the Southern Ocean. The interaction between climate and ecosystems is another motivation for my future research.
