About
My work combines molecular tools with oceanography to understand the ecology of planktonic stages of cephalopods in coastal upwellings, mainly Octopus vulgaris: their diet, population structure and life-cycle. My research aims to understand Octopus vulgaris larvae in the wild, to apply such knowledge to aquaculture.
Complementary, I study mesozooplankton communities, parasitic/epibiontic relationships in the zooplankton, anadromous fishes and nudibranchs and cephalopod biodiversity.
