About
My research interests can be broadly included inside microbial ecology, and revolve around the study of the microbes thriving in unusual and/or extreme environments, and the associated biogeochemistry. This includes systematics, astrobiology, bioremediation or biomining amongst other topics.
My skills cover both classic and modern microbiological techniques, including the analysis of High Throughput Sequencing (HTS) data from both short and long read technologies.
If you are interested in using HTS for microbial community profiling, genome sequencing, metagenomics, microbiome studies… and you are looking for a collaborator that can deal with all that date, feel free to contact.
