Luis Toronjo-Urquiza is a Lecturer in Biopharmaceutical Engineering at the University of Adelaide, where he leads the Discipline of Bioprocess Engineering and directs the Master in Biopharmaceutical Engineering program. His research focuses on developing sustainable and innovative processes for pharmaceutical production, including plant-derived anticancer compounds, mRNA purification technologies, and natural radiation-shielding formulations.
