About
Maria Cano Dominguez is a registered Spanish Architect who completed her Master in Architecture in 2015. She is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Newcastle, Australia. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney with her thesis called “Casabella (1973-1975): The Hidden Radicals of Architecture”.
Before that, she was an Academic Tutor at the University of Technology of Sydney, University of Sydney, and University of New South Wales, across different disciplines – architecture, landscape and interior architecture – and levels – undergraduate and graduate studies. Prior to joining the academic path, Maria was a Project Architect at Grupo Aranea in Spain (2015-2017), a Design Architect at BCHO Architects in South Korea (2015), Graduate Architect at DVA in South Korea (2014), and lastly at MHNDU in Australia (2018).
She is a passionate piano player and a compulsive drawer.
