About
My main area of research is the genetic improvement of crops for resistance to pests, diseases and abiotic stresses, as well as the development and implementation of new methodologies to improve the selection processes in breeding programs. Over 9 years, my research activity has been focused in applied research and the transfer of the results, especially breeding new cotton and olive varieties and rootstocks with increased levels of resistance to Verticillium wilt in a commercial and research environment.
